Ingredients
- 2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup runny plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon, plus more for cooking groundnut oil or other vegetable oil
- for drizzling runny honey
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the wholemeal flour, sea salt flakes, and baking soda.
- Add the yogurt and 1 tablespoon of oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a shaggy dough forms, then turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until it comes together smoothly. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a thin, approximately 6-inch round flatbread.
- Heat a dry non-stick pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each flatbread for 1-2 minutes per side, or until puffed and golden brown spots appear.
- Serve warm, drizzled with runny honey.
